This hosted “Software as a Service” (SaaS) Business Intelligence and Performance Management Suite is built on Microsoft’s award-winning SharePoint and SQL 2008. Pricing Model

Our pricing model is unique in that we will charge a low, flat monthly fee to include all services, consulting, and products. The price of our offering is one third of the price of traditional BI offerings. There are no upfront infrastructure cost and no hidden fees. We will have no professional services fees, consulting, statement of work, training, per user or other fees. This unique pricing model allows your company to engage with us to achieve the maximum value from the solution and drive adoption throughout your organization.

Ease of use and implementation

Our solution leverages best practices from within verticals to get customers up and running quickly. By focusing on a Software as a Service (SaaS) model, our customers benefit from a community to help drive these best practices and create new innovation. As the community generates additional best practices or innovated solutions, they are easily integrated into existing customers’ solution by just "turning on the feature" or option. The solution can be customized for each customer, but is designed to get a customer implemented in 90 days or less. Our architecture includes a "mashup" concept to allow components of our application or other external applications to be easily integrated throughout the solution. The tools are designed to allow business people to use and modify the solution, it does not require the user be a super user or require support from the internal IT Department to be able to modify the solution. Our account managers are available to guide your organization on how to get the most value from the solution.

Data Management Consulting and Governance

We are leaders in driving data management into an organization. Many BI projects fail because the organization does not have a strategy or governance around using data. The phrase of "garbage in and garbage out" is often used by IT folks. IT expects the business to own the data, and the business expects IT to own the data. The reality is both areas need to take ownership and design a governance policy around information and its use, meaning, and protection. SDM will provide this consulting to our customers for no additional fee which will help drive data standards and governance that will enhance the quality of the information.

Holistic Viewpoint

Our solution takes a holistic approach to BI; we consolidate internal silos of information and add external information to generate a 360 degree view of information. SDM will normalize and aggregate data into the application from sources such as weather, stock info, news alerts, market analysis, competitor press releases, Healthcare statistics, and other types of data based upon customers' needs.

Collaboration, Communication, and Workflow

Our solution includes collaboration, communication, and workflow as part of the BI suite. All other BI vendors either sell these as additional products or do not offer these solutions. We believe the business process and collaboration inherently involved in BI should be integrated into the BI suite. End users should not have to login into another application to collaborate around information contained in the BI solution or to kick off a business process. By integrating these capabilities into the BI suite, companies will be better able to manage their organizations by collaborating on performance management and Business Intelligence.
