Job Description:

We are looking for an aggressive, self-starter, senior Technology Account Executive who is looking for a ground floor opportunity. The primary function of this position during the first years will be to generate and close new business as well as manage and leverage existing clientele within our marketplace. This position will focus on selling data management solutions consisting of Data Storage, Business Continuity, Data Security, Database Management, Data Compliance and Business Intelligence. This position reports to the President and owner of the company. As the company grows this position will mentor and guide junior account executives.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Generate new customers & close new business

  • Cross-sell additional products and services to existing customers

  • Pro-actively network, prospect, cold call, and sell to multiple contacts within an organization, especially "C" levels

  • Manage and develop relationships with customers and provide a consultative sales approach that delivers the highest level of Account Management Services

  • Responsible for building territory through heavy cold calling and networking

  • Establish sales process for organization

Skills & Experience Requirements:

  • 3-5 years technology/information systems (IT) sales

  • C, VP & Director level established relationships within the Indiana IT community

  • Strong understanding of Data Management solutions

  • Experience selling Data Storage, Business Continuity, Data Security, Database Management, Data Compliance or Business Intelligence solutions

  • CRM experience

  • Comfortable presenting to groups

  • Demonstrated ability of lead generation and opening new accounts

  • History of exceeding sales goals

  • Experience selling consultative technology solutions
